Here’s how the program will work:

4 Weeks before your exam you'll start the "Pass your official exam" learning system.

The exam has usually 4 parts, Lesen (reading), Hören (listening), Schreiben (writing) and Sprechen (speaking).

We'll practice and review all of these parts in the program.

How are we going to do this?

On the one hand we'll give you some homework assignments so you can practice on your own the first 3 parts, Lesen (reading), Hören (listening), and Schreiben (writing).

Then, 2 times a week we'll have a live Zoom Coaching Call, where we'll give you feedback on your Lesen (reading), Hören (listening), Schreiben (writing) exercises and practice together the Sprechen (speaking) part.

In those Calls we'll give you valuable tips and tricks to improve your German for the exam.

After 4 weeks, you'll be ready to take and pass your exam. That simple :-)

FAQs

How do I know if I’m ready to take an exam?

Make a simple self-evaluation: For example, if you’re interested in taking the B1 Goethe exam, take a B1 Goethe mock exam (you’ll usually find mock exams on their official site) and try the Listening (Hören) and Reading (Lesen) exercises.

These are usually simple “multiple choice” exercises where you can get immediate and accurate feedback on your grades.

If you get 50% right or more, “green light”, join our course and we’ll evaluate together your writing (Schreiben) and speaking (Sprechen).

If you got less than 50% right, you might need to review your German, for example by taking our online-course “From Zero to C1”.

How can I review my German to be ready for the exam?

I recommend that you at least thoroughly learn the content of the exam grade you want to take minus 1.

Let me explain: So for example, if you want to take a B1 exam, you should at least learn thoroughly till A2 and then try a mock exam as described before.

Or if you want to take a B2 exam, you should at least learn thoroughly till B1 and then try a mock exam as described before.

Or if you want to take a C1 exam, you should at least learn thoroughly till B2 and then try a mock exam as described before.

You can do so for example by taking our online-course “From Zero to C1” first.

What if my exam is in less than 4 weeks?

No problem, come to a first Call, we’ll evaluate your current level and if necessary we’ll meet you more than 2x per week.

What if my exam is in more than 4 weeks?

No problem, come to a first Call, we’ll evaluate your current level and we might start with the program 4 weeks before the exam or sooner and meet you less than 2x per week.
